Going analog (paper, pens, pencils, oil pastels, ink...) is so underrated. Hand-made art has been my solace in the time of AI. Also something I find meditative: solving algebra problems!

in this age of ai people find a relief in touching and feeling analog art-it has to be born and fed irl

Obsessed with the passion for taste. Brands should curate taste and so should products at all levels. Taste is subjective and can be broadly appealing to all.

Wow, such a great article! I've been on a journey to try to develop better taste as a designer. It's hard to do when algorithms rule the internet, pushing more and more of the same. One strategy I've taken (aside from starting this design publication) is to view physical media as much as possible. Go to art galleries. Explore architectural masterpieces. Consider the logos and advertisements of stores I frequent. It's intentional work, but all design professions overlap, and there's something to learn from everyone.
